On June 16, 2024, the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua University held the eighth session of the "Careful Thinking and careful Action · Science and Technology Innovation Day" high-level research Laboratory topic defense meeting。

The final debate session was divided into three sessions: Robot Energy (B202), Computer Geography (B206) and biochemistry (B302)。The students overcame many difficulties and completed the project experiment efficiently。At the debate site, the students were fully prepared, carried out a complete and detailed concluding report, reported the research results of the topic to the experts and participants, and answered the questions raised by the evaluation experts one by one。

The students' performance was unanimously praised by the judging panel。After the review and recommendation of the expert group and the score statistics, 9 excellent paper awards were selected in the 32 groups of topics participating in the final defense, such as "Research and development of hydrogen production device by electrolytic water and fuel cell application" and "in vitro antibacterial effect of 5 traditional Chinese medicines on Escherichia coli and its antibiotic resistant bacteria"。

Tsinghua High School co-operates seven advanced research laboratories, including Energy Systems, Resources, Environment and Geographic Information, computer science, robotics and automation, Life sciences, Analytical Chemistry and Boeing Newton Flight Academy。The advanced research laboratory is for students who are interested, capable and willing to devote themselves to these aspects, and carries out a two-year study and practice。In the pilot courses in each laboratory, students can master research skills and methods, and carry out small topics and small projects。Choose the research direction in the second semester of senior high school and participate in the thesis defense。In the second year of senior high school, I completed the project research, wrote the thesis and passed the final defense。Among them, the excellent research results have won excellent achievements in various competitions for many times。
