The teachers and students of Tsinghua Affiliated High School went to Hong Kong Diocesan Girls' College for inter-school exchange during the winter vacation

From January 29 to February 3, 2018, 7 students from Grade 1 and Grade 2 of Tsinghua High School went to Diocesan Girls' College in Hong Kong for inter-school exchange activities under the leadership of Ms. Zhang Xinyue, and were warmly welcomed and received by the teachers and students of Diocesan Girls' College。

During the exchange, the students of our school actively integrated into the class, learned the similarities and differences between Hong Kong and the mainland in education and teaching, and improved their English level in the English teaching environment, showing the excellent style of the students of the Affiliated school。The exchange participants also visited the Hong Kong Museum of History and Science Museum, Victoria Harbour and the University of Hong Kong together with the teachers and students of Diocesan Girls' College, and gained a new understanding of Hong Kong's urban landscape and cultural customs。

This exchange activity opened a new window for the students, making the teachers and students of Tsinghua High School perceive the different cultural connotation, customs and customs of Hong Kong。The students established a deep friendship with their Hong Kong partners during the activity, which enhanced the exchanges between Hong Kong and the mainland。

Diocesan Girls' College was founded in 1860 by the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui。The school is an internationally oriented girls' grammar school in Hong Kong。The school cultivates students with lofty ideals, who are able to inherit the fine traditional Chinese culture and democratic beliefs, and make contributions to society. Its philosophy is "pursuit of excellence", and strives to enable students to learn efficiently, develop their potential and enjoy lifelong learning。Diocesan Girls' College teachers and students will pay a one-week return visit to Tsinghua High School in April this year。
