The International Department of Tsinghua High School organized students to go to Jiangsu to carry out Chinese culture investigation and practice activities

From June 5 to 10, the International Department of Tsinghua Affiliated High School organized Grade 11 students to go to Nanjing, Yangzhou, Suzhou and other places to conduct Chinese culture investigation and practice activities of "Jinling Context, Poetry and Water Town"。The event was led by Chinese teachers Li Liangfang and Qian Chao and chemistry teacher Laz Chatzimanolis。

The practical activities of this cultural inspection are rich in content, from the graceful natural landscape to the ingenious human landscape;From the rise and fall of the history, to the poetry of the water town for thousands of years;From the inner world of the poet to the voice of the ordinary street。Students enjoy walking, listen in watching, feel in listening, and experience in feeling, which can be said to benefit a lot。

On the morning of the 5th, just after the grand and moving graduation ceremony, the 11th grade students set foot on the journey with their reluctance to seniors and seniors and their expectations for this activity。From Beijing South Railway Station to Nanjing South Railway Station, the train flies in the vast North China Plain, Jianghuai Plain, through the Yellow River and Yangtze River, all the way beautiful mountains and rivers。The students looked out the window of the rapidly retrogressive scenery, with the excitement of Li Bai "Li Li Jiangling one day", and with the beautiful expectations of Qianlong Emperor three Jiangnan。Nearly four hours later, the train arrived in Nanjing, the ancient capital of the six Dynasties。At this time, the lantern was on, and the students looked curiously at the ancient capital Shen Yun in the warm air。

Jiangnan beautiful land, ancient imperial state

Nanjing is known as the ancient capital of six dynasties and the city of ten generations, and the historic sites are scattered throughout the ancient city。In just two days, the students visited many famous scenic spots。In the Nanjing Museum, students carefully observe each piece of delicate cultural relics, those dusty history like a lotus blossom: ancient civilization, The Three Kingdoms, the prosperity of the six dynasties, Tang and Song dynasties, Ming and Qing dynasties, the customs of the Republic of China。In the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum, the students followed the steps up the stairs, along the way to perceive Mr. Sun Yat-sen's "universal love" mind, "the world for the public" long-cherished wish, the "Three people's Principles" concept and the spirit of "noble spirit forever"。At the Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, the students lamented the arduous work of the ancestors who built the bridge, while staring at the majestic grandeur of the river to the east。At the Nanjing presidential Palace, students alternately listen attentively and take notes carefully。The long history of modern China unfolds slowly here, from the heaven to the forgiveness of the two rivers;From the Republic to the state house to move west;From the peace talks between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party to the dawn of the warm garden。In Jinghai Temple, the students marveled at Zheng He's seven voyages to the West, and also mused on the bitter lessons of the Sino-British Treaty of Nanking。Passing through the ancient Buddhist sounds of Jiming Temple and climbing the mottled Ming City wall, the students walked on the city bricks with a history of more than 600 years, looking at the majestic Purple Mountain in the east and the vast beauty of Xuanwu Lake in the north, and sensed the momentum of the ancient city of Nanjing。Sitting in the painted boat on the Qinhuai River, the students thought of Du Mu's night mowing, Liu Yuxi's Huai River old moon, and Zhu Ziqing and Yu Pingbo's OARS the sound and shadow of the OARS。The night is empty, the boat leisurely, past the Wende Bridge, Zhuque Bridge, past the Confucius Temple, Jiangnan tribute, past Wang Xianzhi's peach leaf ferry, Li Xiangjun's Mei Xiang building, Wu Jingzi's Qinhuai water pavilion。The two sides are white walls and black tiles, silk and bamboo orchestra, is a glass of wine, enjoy the secret。The bustling old shadow of the Qinhuai River seemed to flash before the eyes of the students。

On the morning of the 8th, the students set out from Nanjing to Yangzhou。Entering the slender West Lake, the students are attracted by the dancing pavilions and song terraces and the bridge painted with willow trees。All the way to the small mountain, the plantain outside the door caused a shower。Although it hindered the pace of progress, it did not let the students feel disappointed, and the beauty of the thin West Lake was more charming in the rain。Some students wear raincoats,Standing still in the rain,As if to accept the beauty between heaven and earth;Some students are watching the rain under the eaves,The eaves were dotted with raindrops,On the blue stone stained with the luminous heart;Some students in the room quietly write down the poetry of thin West Lake in the rain;Some students chant, "Holding an oiled paper umbrella,Alone/wandering in long,Long lonely lane in the rain..."。After finishing the tour of Thin West Lake, the students came to Yangzhou Double Museum。In Yangzhou Chinese block Printing Museum,The students learned about the production process of block printing,Marveling at the wisdom and skill of the ancients;In the new Yangzhou Museum,Through piece by piece collections,The students saw the splendor of "Ten miles of Yangzhou Road in the Spring Breeze" in Du Mu's poem,Also see Jiang Kui pen "waste pool trees.,I hate to talk about soldiers.,Yangzhou's ups and downs are vividly remembered,A sense of rise and fall arises。Next, the students appreciated the subtle and vivid paper-cut works of the Yangzhou paper-cut art masters, learned the similarities and differences of the North and South paper-cut art, and personally experienced the paper-cut art under the guidance of the paper-cut artists。The students were thrilled when they finished their work。The last stop of the Yangzhou tour, the students came to the Yangzhou section of the Grand Canal。At this time, it is dusk, the students walk in the thousand years of the Grand Canal, the evening wind is slow, the river waves high and low, as if narrating the Yangzhou city and the Grand Canal。

On the morning of the 9th, the students arrived in Suzhou by high-speed train。The bus walked through the exquisite ancient city, and the guide introduced the history of Suzhou with humor, so that the students fell in love with it even before they arrived at the scenic spot。In Suzhou Museum, students appreciate the treasures in the collection and learn about the origin and elegance of Wu culture.At the same time, I was amazed at the museum venue design of the master architect I. M. Pei, which integrates Chinese and Western, ancient and modern。Next to the Suzhou Museum, the Humble Administrator's Garden is the first of China's four famous gardens。Following the guide, the students enjoyed the pavilions, water pavilions, famous flowers, and rockeries in the Humble Administrator's Garden。Ten steps to the first floor, five steps to a cabinet, and the flexible use of techniques such as changing scenery, framing scenery, borrowing scenery, and separating scenery, the students are deeply impressed by the charm of Chinese classical gardens。After visiting the garden, the students went to Hanshan Temple, where they revisited the poetry of Zhang Ji's "Riding at Night on the Maple Bridge" and further understood the cultural connotation of the two immortal gods。Suzhou is not only a beautiful garden, Suzhou silk is also world famous。In the afternoon, the students visited the First Silk Factory in Suzhou, where they had a detailed and intuitive understanding of the complicated silk production process。In the evening, the students enjoyed Pingtan opera at a distinctive small theater on Pingjiang Road。"Jasmine Flower" fresh and elegant, "钗头凤" sad spoonful, "Lin Chong Taxue" proud Zhengzheng, students listened with relish。After enjoying the unique Pingtan, night fell quietly, and the lights on Pingjiang Road were already bright。We gave the students two hours of free time to wander in the Xiaoqiao Lane on Pingjiang Road and savor the elegance and gentleness of Suzhou。

On the morning of the 10th, after visiting the Suzhou Arts and Crafts Museum and experiencing the creation of fan paintings, the students embarked on the high-speed train back home。

This activity is one of the series of Chinese culture practice activities of the International Department, which aims to let students experience the essence of Southeast culture represented by Nanjing, Suzhou and Yangzhou。This activity is also an extension of the classroom. In the process of watching, listening and experiencing, students enhance their ability to use Chinese language and characters, improve their perception and appreciation of Chinese literature and culture, and thus enhance their aesthetic quality and humanistic feelings。At the same time, the students' active cooperation, exploration, willingness to participate, multiculturalism and Spartan spirit in the process of activities are also highly commendable。
