The fourth offline teacher workshop of Chinese Advanced Placement Courses was held at Tsinghua High School

On the afternoon of September 14, 2017, the opening ceremony of the fourth Chinese Advanced Placement (CAP) Offline Teacher Workshop was held at Tsinghua High School。Teachers from nearly 40 middle schools across the country gathered at Tsinghua High School to study and discuss the new mode of connecting basic education and higher education - Chinese Advanced Placement Course。

The opening ceremony was presided over by Xiaojia Che, Director of Curriculum Development of CAP Council。Mr. Wang Dianjun, Executive Chairman of CAP Council and President of Tsinghua High School, spoke first，The present situation of the lack of richness and hierarchy in our middle school curriculum system，There is a serious disconnect between the learning mode of middle school education and the thinking of university education，Combining the beneficial experience of AP course in America and the educational reality of our country，The creation process and concept purpose of CAP were introduced in detail，At the same time, the participants also showed the design development of CAP courses and credit certification and other recent gratifying achievements。

Nie Fenghua, Secretary-General of the CAP Council and deputy Director of the Online Education Research Center of the Ministry of Education, introduced the development status of Xuetang Online, CAP's operating platform, and MOOC (MOOC)。Chen Wei, Deputy Secretary-General of CAP Council and Director of the Communication and Liaison Department of the Online Education Research Center of the Ministry of Education, introduced CAP's offline evaluation system and analyzed the scores of offline exams held。Ma Yuchun, associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Tsinghua University, attended as a famous MOOCS teacher and shared her ideas on blended teaching and flipped classroom content, which was well received by the participating teachers。Liang Heng, associate professor of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Tsinghua University, affirmed that MOOCs are a perfect educational logic system suitable for middle school students, and he stressed the need to continue to promote them。Zhang Liuwen, professor of physics Department of Tsinghua University, analyzed the selection situation of colleges and universities, emphasizing that CAP can effectively connect and run through universities and middle schools, so as to truly realize the teaching of students according to their aptitude。

The CAP teacher workshop lasted for three days. Through trial lectures, group learning, and results presentation, teachers were able to fully understand the teaching skills and learning ideas developed based on the CAP course, and lay a solid foundation for serving students' CAP learning。
