The High School affiliated to Tsinghua University started the key teacher training project in Maigeti County, Xinjiang
On the afternoon of August 31, 2016, 10 key teachers from Maigati Experimental Middle School and Daolang Bilingual Middle School of Xinjiang came to Tsinghua High School for a three-month training and internship。The High School Attached to Tsinghua University held a welcome meeting in the conference room on the first floor of the training building to welcome teachers from Xinjiang。Ma Eren, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua Tongfang and current President of Tongfang University, Nie Baomin, Director of the Office of the Party Committee of Tongfang, Wang Dianjun, Party Secretary Fang Yan, Deputy Secretary Zhang Jie, Vice President Bai Xuefeng, Xu Wenbing, and one-to-one teachers selected by the High School Affiliated to Tsinghua attended the welcome meeting。Zhang Jie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Tsinghua High School, presided over the welcome meeting。
Xinjiang Maigeti County backbone teachers welcome scene
The High School attached to Tsinghua University attaches great importance to the backbone teacher training project in Maigeti County, Xinjiang. After many consultations and discussions, the school carefully selected 15 excellent teachers as the head teacher and teaching instructor of the Xinjiang participating teachers for one-to-one guidance。
Ma Eren, former Secretary of the Party Committee of Tongfang and current president of Tongfang University, gave great support and affirmation to the training work at the welcome meeting。She hopes that the backbone teachers in Maigeti County of Xinjiang can cherish this opportunity, quickly adapt to the difference in time difference, environment, learning tasks and work pace, seize this opportunity, and give back to the people of Xinjiang with fruitful results。

Wang Dianjun, president of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University, and Fang Yan, Party secretary, also delivered welcoming speeches。They hope that in the next three months, teachers from both sides will work and study together, exchange what they have, and take practical actions to promote the development of education in the West。Subsequently, Secretary Fang Yan read out the list of teacher pairs, and Principal Wang Dianjun issued the letter of appointment for the teachers。
