On the afternoon of October 26, Shuimu Lecture Hall - Dialogue Everyone activity came as scheduled。The guest invited this time is Professor He Maochun, Professor of the Department of International Relations, School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University and director of the Research Center for Economic Diplomacy, Tsinghua University。Professor He gave a wonderful lecture entitled "Analysis of the New International and Domestic Situation" to the students of Grade 22。This lecture helped students to further understand the current international and domestic situation, broadened their global vision, and enhanced their understanding of the Great power game and the Belt and Road Initiative。

Professor He first explained the analysis method of international and domestic situation for the students from the common sense of judging the situation。He mentioned that situationology is a study of the situation, and the difficulty lies in the need for more knowledge, more misdirection, more ignorance and prejudice。Professor He introduced the empirical analysis methods of situation science, including structural analysis, systematic analysis, and field investigation analysis。In addition, he also stressed the importance of non-empirical analysis, such as psychology, logic and other aspects of analysis。

When talking about the game of great powers, Professor He analyzed the development trend of Sino-US relations with vivid cases, so that the students could feel the competition and cooperation between great powers more directly。He gave an in-depth analysis of hot issues such as the Sino-US trade war and technological competition, pointing out that China is playing an increasingly important role in the global governance system。

The lecture ended successfully in a round of applause, which not only provided the students with a rich feast of knowledge, but also inspired them to pay attention to and think about the international and domestic situation。After the three-hour lecture, the students also asked Professor He about youth choices and specific actions in the context of the Belt and Road Initiative。
